Course 2 - Educational Sector Policies

This IIEP-UNESCO Course 2 Participation badge is awarded to participants who have completed in a timely manner all of the required activities and assessments in the second course of the Foundations of Education Sector Planning Programme. This credential recognizes activity and course completion, but does not relate to achieved grades. Course 2 "Educational Sector Policies" takes participants on a learning journey that looks at opportunities and limitations of selected education policies to increase equitable and inclusive access to education and improve the quality of education to achieve better learning outcomes. This course also reviews and analyses policies to strengthen governance approaches that ensure effective and efficient education service delivery. The course required approximately 8-10 hours of learning effort per week, using a large variety of learning activities and resources, and was delivered fully online over a six-week period from October to November, 2023.
