2022. Applied Education Sector Planning (AESP)

The Applied Education Sector Planning (AESP) component of the Education Sector Planning Course (ESP) was held from May 4 to November 29, 2022. The AESP positions work within the largest context of socio-economic development, demographics, and the evolving development of aid environment. Upon successful completion of the AESP component of the ESP, participants should be able to: (1) Design and draft an education sector diagnosis; (2) Use simulation/projection tools for plan target setting; (3) Evaluate the relevance and feasibility of alternative scenarios to attain the set objectives and strategies; (4) Operationalize plan objectives into education sector programmes, and (5) Organize collaborative work for education sector planning tasks. Participants spent an average of 170 hours on course-related work.
